Job Title: 2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer Job Description
In this role, the Engineer delivers a high level of proactive and operational support for a diverse technical environment in our Maidenhead office. There is an opportunity for hybrid working, where there will be an expectation for a minimum of 3 days a week onsite, and only a very small requirement to visit the London office every 2 months or even less. The person in this position is constantly in direct contact with a large number of users across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate must deal effectively with multiple concurrent problems with only limited direct supervision. As such, determination of the highest immediate priority(s) and the most expedient course(s) of action may be required several times during the workday. You will be responsible for all Company owned devices that are directly or indirectly connected to the Client's computing environment. The resource also acts as a liaison between the corporate Information Services team and works to ensure stable on-going operations of the company's infrastructure. Responsibilities

* Be in direct contact with a large number of users across all levels of the organization.
* Effectively deal with multiple concurrent problems with limited supervision.
* Determine priorities and the most expedient courses of action several times during the workday.
* To provide up to 2nd line support for end users

* Robust hardware troubleshooting skills
* Significant user support in enterprise-wide organizations using automated deployment tools
* Broad range of technical knowledge to provide solutions and assist others
* Ability to implement and support products and services that meet or exceed the expectations of employees and customers
* Ability to work effectively with corporate and/or international information technology staff
* Knowledge of collaboration and audio-video technology such as Smart Board, Microsoft Surface Hub, Cisco Video Conferencing, Crestron, Lenovo Microsoft Teams Room is a plus
* Ability to provide 2nd level support of similar equipment
