We are looking to recruit on behalf of our client, a Technical Sales Engineer to join their existing team on a permanent basis. Our client are a leading provider of mechanical solutions within industrial settings relating to gas turbines and power generation. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Essential Engineering, Business or Manufacturing Qualification at HND level or equivalent. Desirable Engineering, Business or Manufacturing Qualification at Degree level or equivalent. EXPERIENCE Essential Extensive commercial and technical experience from similar industries and roles. Experience of enquiry and bid management. Experience of producing sales proposals within similar industries. Proven track record of success working within a sales/proposal’s environment. Able to demonstrate the desire and determination to exceed performance targets. Capable of showing a natural ability of sustaining customer relationships that have led to successful and profitable sales. Excellent customer care and communications skills. Ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines. Capable of working within a fast-paced environment whilst demonstrating inspirational and supportive leadership skills. Desirable Experience of account management and relationship building. Sales Experience in Energy/Oil & Gas industry sectors. Experience or good understanding of transition to green energy Technical sales or account management experience. Experience and knowledge of the CDM regulations Permanent role for the right candidate
