Job Overview
VANRATH are assisting our client, a respected Public Sector organisation who are seeking a highly organised and proactive personal secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support to senior staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing schedules, handling correspondence, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office.

* £15.38/hour
* Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel plans in a cost-effective manner.
* Handling correspondence, including drafting, reviewing, and distributing emails, letters, and reports.
* Preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
* Maintaining records, filing systems, and confidential documents.
* Acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
* Supporting general office administration, including ordering supplies and managing logistics.
* Assisting with special projects, research tasks, and event coordination as required.
Essential Criteria:
1. A relevant qualification in administration or business support, along with practical experience in a secretarial or administrative role, OR Sufficient experience in a professional secretarial capacity without formal qualifications.
2. Experience providing administrative support to senior staff or management, including diary management, correspondence handling, and meeting coordination
