The role The Associate Director of Technology is an exciting new leadership opportunity, working closely with Director of Technology Transformation, and in partnership with the wider leadership team to shape our future technology strategy, landscape and maturing our enterprise capabilities across Architecture, Engineering, Cloud, Artificial Intelligence and Automation to support the University’s ambitions of delivering adaptable, digitally inclusive, resilient, secure an technology enabled services to students, colleagues and partners.As a key leadership role, you will be fundamental to supporting our transformation and adoption of new technologies.bining your passion for design, architecture, automation and emerging technology, you will utilise your exceptional relationship-building skills, to bring our vision for the future to life. Working collaboratively across the organisation at both a strategic and hands-on level, you will explore technology solutions that bring innovation and agility to the way we deliver services today and in the future. About you
1. A strong background in technology leadership roles with passion and experience of delivering and transforming technology services acrossplex organisations.
2. Experience of developing and embedding architecture capabilities at Enterprise, Business, Data and Cyber level within large multi-technology environments
3. Demonstrable experience of driving and championing new ways of working at scale across multiple products and services
4. Extensive experience of working collaboratively with Senior leadership colleagues and managing change across technology and non-technology stakeholders
5. Excellentmunication skills and the ability tomunicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of an organisation, whether non-technical or technical
6. An understanding of theplexities of working within a Higher Education environment is desirable but not essential.
