The main purpose of this role is to support the analysis of screening alerts produced by the Financial Crime systems This forms part of the larger SJP's Group Financial Crime function to ensure the Company complies with legal and regulatory rules, guidance and industry best practice, and includes the UK's Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing & Transfer of Funds Regulations 2017, the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, guidance of the Joint Money Laundering Steering Group and the Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority. What you'll be doing: Analysis and investigation of screening alerts produced by the Financial Crime systems (Screening and Transaction Monitoring) as required, utilising other SJP systems (such as the Respond case management system) and liaising with the Partnership as necessary. Escalate any confirmed matches to the investigations (FCPO) team as required. Escalate any system functionality issues that arise directly to the Financial Crime Systems & Data Manager. Who we're looking for: A general awareness and understanding of how to use Microsoft. Strong analytical knowledge utilised in reviewing screening alerts. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and prioritisation skills. Able to cope with fluctuating workloads. Good decision-making skills - knowing when to escalate. Diplomacy and confidentiality. Able to communicate effectively and appropriately with different audiences.
