Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role supports the firm’s growth and the day-to-day running of the Facilities department. This position is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in a similar facilities management assistant role, looking to develop their skills across all aspects of facilities management. While prior experience in audio-visual (AV) and meeting room support is not essential, a willingness to learn and transferable facilities management experience is required. Your future role at QRT Conducting routine checks and scheduling maintenance requests promptly. Taking ownership of ad-hoc tasks to ensure the business receives the appropriate level of service. Providing daily support for meeting rooms, including logging into and checking AV equipment. Coordinating event support, including AV setup, furniture arrangements, and logistics. Liaising with external AV providers to log and resolve defects in meeting room equipment. Managing logistics for deliveries and the loading bay. Supporting the Facilities Manager with first aid and fire warden training and documentation. Booking and escorting engineers as required. Providing occasional support to the Office Management team. Working with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure facilities-related services run smoothly. Your present skillset 1-2 years of facilities experience, ideally with audio-visual (AV) setup support in a similar role. Familiarity with room booking systems and audio-visual (AV) setups, particularly for meeting rooms, is desirable but not essential. Hands-on approach with a proactive and organised mindset. Team-player attitude with the ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through. Understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance principles and building systems. Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and a “can-do” attitude. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. QRT is an equal opportunity employer.
