Putting patients and communities at the heart of our values-led hospitals by developing and transforming medical practice to improve clinical outcomes, reduce health inequalities and enhance our patient experience is the privilege of all our clinical colleagues.
Launched more than 12 months ago, our new operating model allows our local teams to provide services to patients with the highest quality, equitable care possible whilst delivering the best clinical care to those that rely on us - whilst remaining part of the wider University Hospital Birmingham (UHB).
Applications are invited for a high-quality Consultant Dermatologist to join us across our clinics at Solihull and Good Hope Hospitals. This is a 10 PA substantive post to meet increasing demand. Applications from individuals seeking to work on a less than full-time basis would also be welcomed.
The post will support both medical dermatology and patients referred through the cancer pathways. The successful candidate will deliver a mix of medical dermatology clinics, 2WW skin cancer clinics, day case surgery and teledermatology. There will be an element of cross-site working between Good Hope and Solihull Hospital sites, with expansion of the specialist dermatology footprint at Good Hope Hospital a key component of the department's 3-year strategy.
The appointment is subject to pre-employment health screening.
