\n\nJob Title: Senior Project Manager\n \nCBRE Global Workplace Solutions, leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, are recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join the team located in Nationwide.\n\nPurpose Of The Job\n\n Have full accountability and responsibility for the safe management and delivery of project works in line with business processes and procedures working alongside contract teams and client to generate pipeline sales and opportunities.\n \nManage others within the business and support growth and development of talent.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nIdentify and develop a medium and long term pipeline of Project opportunities from the portfolio of customers within the Business Unit.\nUse the LCR and FMR to build capex plans for long term spend.\nLeverage opportunities through visibility and presence on customer sites.\nLiaise with colleagues managers to determine and identify project opportunities. Create case studies to promote business and host key decision makers on show site tours.\nLiaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor.\nWork with developers, designers and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s). Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome.
This is to be within agreed budget requirements and required profit margins.\nManage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the customer as required. Carry out full tender analysis of all sub-contractor returns.\nWork within the current CDM process. In the main taking on the role of principle contractor.\nIn line with local playbook identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project they are leading.\nEnsure CBRE QHSE practices and processes are fully embedded in each project.\nEnsure full compliance with project management policies and procedures.\nManage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) "end to end".
Activities to include but not be limited to estimating, business development, quantity surveying, sub-contractor management and site manager duties.\nWork closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).\nEnsure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project playbook.\nMutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to the benefit of the project and the business.\nEnsures project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.\nProvide timely monthly reports to the Head of Projects/Business Unit Director in an agreed format.\nManage commercial terms to eliminate risk\nSupport recruitment\nLead and mange others within the division and support their growth and development.\nSupport Head of Projects in managing and delivering business strategy.Accountabilities\n\nAccountability to the Head of projects.\nGenerate project opportunities by building strong effective working relationships with our customers and site teams.\nFull P & L responsibility\nAccountable as line manager for others.\nEnsure compliance with CBRE health and safety policy and process whilst ensuring that they are effectively implemented across both CBRE and its subcontractor's activities. These are to be regularly audited and reviewed.\nPerson Specification\n \nEducation \n\nRecognised technical qualification in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical or similar (desirable)\nDegree level qualification in Project Management (desirable)\n\nTraining \n \n· Degree level qualification within project management, construction management or equivalent (desirable)\n \n· Business standard of written and verbal literacy and numeracy\n \n· APM certified (desirable)\n \n· Prince 2 certified (desirable)\n \n· CDM regulations \n \n· SMSTS certified \n \n· Nebosh certified\n \n· CSCS card holder\n \n· IOSH (desirable)\n\nExperience \n\nProven track record safely delivering exceptional projects in either an M&E, FM, construction, or critical environments.\n \nExperience of developing new project opportunities\n \nProven experience of running a P&L\n \nDemonstrable evidence of having managed a team \n \nExperience of creating, presenting and managing on bids, tenders and proposals.\n\nAptitudes \n\nHighly developed interpersonal and communication skills\nAbility to influence\nAn excellent relationship builder\nAbility to inspire confidence\nChallenge status quo\nHigh degree of integrity\nHighly motivated and self-aware\nHighly organised with attention to detail\nAbility to network\nResults focused\nInnovative\nHandle high levels of information from a wide range of sourcesCharacter \n\nExcellent motivational and influencing skills, with high levels of personal integrity\nHas vision, and able to communicate this effectively.
