We are looking for an enthusiastic therapist with strong clinical and team working skills. An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Physiotherapist. The successful candidate will rotate across the Royal Stoke and County Hospital sites and includes the following specialties:
* Paediatrics
This experience will give the post holder an excellent opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills, as well as building clinical expertise that will enhance and broaden clinical skills.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of a large combined therapies team, which can offer a wide range of learning and development opportunities. Supervision will be provided by an Advanced Therapist and continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning.
Training opportunities across University Hospital of North Midlands include access to an on-site simulation training lab. Close links with Staffordshire, Coventry, Derbyshire, and Keele universities for support with external learning, apprenticeships at level 6 and 7, and research support as well as internal in-service and journal clubs.
Support and training as a clinical educator will be provided and the post holder will have the opportunity to supervise physiotherapy students.
The University Hospital of North Midlands is located on 2 hospital sites, Royal Stoke and County, providing learning and development opportunities across a large therapies team. The Therapies team offers an excellent 7-day provision with staff working weekends and bank holidays and respiratory on call.

Education & Qualifications
* Degree/diploma in Physiotherapy
* HCPC registered
* Evidence of CPD
* CPD relevant to specialty area
Experience
* Minimum of 18 months post-graduate experience as a Physiotherapist
* Experience gained within an acute setting
* Experience relevant to specialty area
Skills, Ability & Knowledge
