ROLE: Fire & Security Project Manager - Fire & Security Systems
As a Fire & Security Project Manager, you will oversee and lead a team of engineers to deliver fire and security systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and executing fire and security projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Additionally, you will manage all aspects of the projects and perform audits to maintain quality and compliance.
EXPERIENCE: You will have project and engineering management experience within Fire & Security systems, along with a strong technical understanding of fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV. A solid knowledge of industry standards, including BS5839 and BS6266, is essential. Relevant certifications such as FIA, SSSTS, or Prince2 highly desirable. Familiarity with systems like Honeywell, Paxton, Hikvision, and Advanced. Experience conducting Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). You will have strong organisational and leadership skills, paired with excellent communication abilities, to successfully manage projects from start to finish. You must have a UK driving license and be based in Leicestershire or be commutable.
