This role is fully office based. Job Purpose To work within the claimant and defendant technical Costs team providing an administrative support function to the Costs team deal with all aspects of litigated and non-litigated costs matters, both Claimant and Defendant. Key Responsibilities Setting up new claims on the company computer system Dealing with enquiries via email and telephone Diary management Preparing document bundles for court Generating standard system driven letters Chasing for costs offers/disbursement vouchers/bills of such other matters/documents as may be needed Updating records with the appropriate action Collating and managing the file transfer list corresponding with Claimant solicitors as and when necessary Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required by the business Experience and Knowledge Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills Strong communication skills both verbal and written Customer focussed Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail Here at Carpenters group diversity and inclusion matters, it is integral to our culture and we welcome applications from everyone.
