Teacher of Performing Arts Part time, fixed term We have a wonderful opportunity for an inspiring and dedicated teacher to join Backwell School as part of our Performing Arts department, specialising in Drama and Dance. This is a part-time (0.51 FTE) position with the opportunity for full time hours for the right candidate. The post starts from the 24 February 2025 and is fixed term contract for up to 12 months to cover Maternity leave. If looking for part time, the vacant working pattern is Week 1: Monday & Wednesday, Week 2: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday however there could be flexibility for the right candidate. Our Performing Arts Curriculum Area encompasses Music, Dance and Drama teaching. The Drama department has great facilities, including a well-equipped theatre will full height stage, green room, lighting/directors box and a balcony. We also have a number of other drama spaces as well as a dedicated Dance Studio with sprung floor and a Theatre Technician.
