* Carry out site duties as directed by your team leader, ensuring adherence to Avove's Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies, as well as our Work Together, Safe Together ethos.
* Report any good calls, close calls, and near misses through our H&S reporting system (e20).
* Identify and report unsafe acts or conditions promptly.
* Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment and comply with risk assessments for each task.
* Only perform tasks and operate equipment that you are certified or competent to use.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, always behaving professionally.
* Adhere to Street works regulations and ensure materials are used efficiently, returning any unused materials to stores.
* Maintain a clean and tidy work site, ensuring all tools and equipment are kept in usable condition, reporting any issues to your team leader.
* Attend briefings as directed and carry out any reasonable requests from your People Manager.
We are seeking a dedicated water Utilities Operative with NRSWA certification and experience in signing, lighting, and guarding. You will need a valid driving license, as travel within your contract area is required. You will demonstrate a responsible, proactive, and flexible attitude, with a strong commitment to teamwork and problem-solving. You should be focused on delivering high-quality work on time while showing a willingness to develop and learn new skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work safely in confined spaces within a civils environment. A solid understanding and commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are crucial for this role.
