Monday-Friday Double Days or 3-Shift Pattern
Our client is a leading food manufacturer, supplying to all the major supermarkets online food delivery companies, wholesale and restaurant chains. They are looking for a number of Production Shift Leaders to supervise their production teams.
Role & Responsibilities:
Leading a team of production line technicians
Manage efficient operation of all production lines & packaging machinery
Train, guide and supervise technicians, ensure that they are trained appropriately
Participate in operational meetings and report on KPi's
Monitor production line performance against KPis'
Team performance management - appraisals, reviews, training, disciplinaries
Ensure that health & safety, quality and food hygiene standards are met
Involved in recruitment, planning, resource management
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Previous leadership experience of supervising a production team
Must have worked in a food manufacturing environment
Able to work well under pressure
Good understanding of SAP
Food Safety, Hygiene, HACCP qualified
Approachable character, positive leader
Packaging machinery experience is desirable
Good knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene standards
Enthusiastic approach & self-motivated
Results orientated with good problem solving & organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
