We have an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to apply for the role of Finance Business Partner.
You’ll lead and manage a section of the corporate Finance function focusing on delivering consistent, high quality, customer focussed service while providing professional financial management support to a designated Directorate Leadership Team.
1. Leadership and management : Lead and manage a section of the corporate Finance function providing professional leadership and guidance.
2. Strategic influence : Lead a centre of expertise across the Council using your insights to support and influence both strategic and operational decision making.
3. Directorate support: Provide professional guidance to a designated Directorate to advise on critical business planning assumptions, help navigate trade-offs, identify opportunities and act as an account manager for end to end financial services.
4. Ambassador for the Finance function: Drive delivery of finance initiatives, gaining acceptance from key stakeholders and building strong relationships.

11. Education : Graduate calibre with supporting CCAB professional qualification.
12. Experience : Extensive generalist finance knowledge and expertise across all disciplines.
13. Team Player : Strong team player who can collaborate effectively.
14. Strategic thinker : Experience of developing strategies and translating these into deliverable plans.
15. Consultancy and Facilitation Skills : Able to communicate clearly, influence others and gain credibility.
16. Systems : Proficient IT skills with the ability to optimise technology for continuous improvement.
