HR Officer
Location: Cheshire (Mostly remote working)
Contract: 3 Month Contract
Rate: £24 Per Hour (Umbrella)
ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of an HR Officer on an initial 3 month basis.
This role will provide a professional HR service to managers, employees, and schools while supporting senior HR staff to implement local HR delivery plans related to HR Policy Development and Pay and Reward.
Responsibilities:
1. Support all aspects of the delivery of the Workforce Strategy to ensure effective recruitment, resourcing, and retention.
2. Research and draft policies/procedures/processes to ensure that employees are managed in accordance with the latest legislation.
3. Provide specialist HR support in the development and delivery of HR plans.
4. Analyse workforce information and provide advice on workforce pay and reward matters.
5. Contribute to the design and development of pay and reward solutions to ensure that cost-effective remuneration packages are maintained.
6. Ensure that any pay and reward changes are implemented by TSC to ensure a seamless service for staff and managers.
7. Undertake job evaluations, act as secretary to job evaluation panels, and provide job evaluation advice.
Requirements:
1. Member of CIPD.
2. Experience of working in an HR setting providing advice and guidance.
3. Knowledge of HR Policies, procedures, and employment law.
4. Experience of job evaluation methodology.
5. Detailed knowledge of HR Policies, including discipline, grievance, and capability.
6. Ability to attend hearings/panels and appeals as a professional representative.
