A opportunity has arisen for a Business Rates and Sundry Accounts Officer to work within our Revenues Service based at John Muir House, Haddington as temporary cover for an internal secondment. Our Business Rates & Sundry Accounts Team is responsible for managing and updating customer accounts, working in partnership with internal Council Services and external organisations, and collecting Business Rates and Sundry Accounts charges. As well as being educated to a minimum HNC level, or equivalent level of knowledge or working experience, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, initiative, attention to detail and organisation.
