Position: Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £85-90 per day
Location: Okehampton

As a TA, you'll play a key role in supporting the daily activities of the classroom, from assisting with lesson planning and delivery to working closely with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups and collaborate with teachers, SEN specialists, and school support staff to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.This role allows you to make a real impact by helping students, particularly those with special educational needs, develop their skills, confidence, and independence.

Responsibilities include:
9. Providing timely and relevant assistance in the classroom.
10. Creating an engaging and positive environment.
11. Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare.
12. Adapt teaching support according to student's needs.
13. Watch, record and report the progress that students make.
14. Safeguarding the children, engaging them in activities.
Requirements are:
15. Must be residing in the UK
16. Have eligibility to work
17. Enhanced DBS on the update service
18. Able to provide professional references
19. Should have at least 6 months of TA experience
20. Having a car and driving to the workplace is desired
21. Good communication and interpersonal skills
