A new and exciting position has recently become live with a leading technology-driven organisation.
They are searching for a career-driven and motivated Graduate Manual QA Tester to join their team on a permanent basis.
As a Manual Test Engineer, you will play a key role in testing and reporting as well as collaborating with 3rd parties and clients. You’ll work in formulating and upholding project software test strategies, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and delivery of assigned test activities within agreed-upon timelines and quality benchmarks.
This is an on-site role that will require you to attend the Leeds office. Therefore, you will need to live and have the full right to work in the UK!
Responsibilities:
* Analyse new and modified functionality to develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts following established standards and processes
* Proactively collaborate with subject matter experts to extract precise and detailed expected outcomes for testing
* Execute manual testing and accurately record test results within specified project timeframes
* Document and record defects or problems, track the status of defects, and verify resolution throughout the testing lifecycle
* Escalate issues to the Test Manager and Project Team when necessary
* Perform functional, non-functional, database, integration, and regression testing as required by project specifications
* Contribute to test process improvements
* Develop and maintain documentation related to QA processes
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant Technology discipline, or equivalent work experience
* In-depth background in a professional software testing/quality assurance setting
* Demonstrated expertise in formulating Accept Test Procedures
