About the Role: This role offers a unique chance for a passionate Humanities graduate to inspire and support students in subjects such as History, Geography, or Religious Education. Key Responsibilities: Assist students in Humanities subjects, providing one-to-one or small group support to help them grasp key concepts and enhance their learning experience. Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and interactive lessons, ensuring all students are actively participating and progressing. Support students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN), tailoring your assistance to meet individual requirements. Help students develop key skills, such as critical thinking, essay writing, and source analysis, essential for success in Humanities subjects. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and offering guidance to students on areas for improvement. Contribute to classroom management and help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment. Support the organization and delivery of extra-curricular activities and field trips related to Humanities, enhancing students’ learning experiences. What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will: Hold a degree in a Humanities subject (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Education, or a related field). Be passionate about education and supporting young people in their academic journeys. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff. Be patient, adaptable, and proactive, with a strong desire to make a positive impact in the classroom. Have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Prior experience working with young people, either in an educational setting or through voluntary roles, is advantageous but not essential.
