The Community Dental Service's award-winning Oral Health Improvement Team are looking for a passionate oral health resource assistant to join the team. The resource assistant will provide efficient administration support, assisting the delivery of oral health improvement programmes across the Bradford and Airedale District. The role includes providing clerical support with data inputting within community settings, working on multiple programme databases and the delivery of resources to all community, nursery and school settings involved in the oral health programmes. Extensive regular travel across the district is a requirement of the role in order to successfully undertake the range of duties specified within the job description. Therefore, it is essential that applicants have the ability to travel regularly across the district to meet the needs and demands of the service.
Part-time post - 21.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

Person Specification
* RSA 2 typing Word Processing or equivalent European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent
* Educated to GCSE standard English & Mathematics
* RSA 3 Typing/Word processing or equivalent
* Business Administration Qualification
* Experience of organising challenging demands and workloads
* Experience of busy office environment and can demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to use the telephone in a precise, clear manner.
* Knowledge and understanding of medical and dental terminology
* Excellent computer skills with ability to use Microsoft office programmes, database & clinical systems
* Ability to take minutes
