We are seeking a dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) Business Partner to build and lead our L&D function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of learning within Egis, driving high-impact development initiatives that align with our strategic goals.
Alongside creating our L&D strategy and programs, you will also play a key role in nurturing our emerging talent, managing their training program, designing pathways for growth, performance, and retention.
Reporting into the Head of Recruitment and HR Shared Services, you shall work closely with HR leaders, managers, and cross-functional teams to embed a culture of continuous learning and development, all while identifying and cultivating the next generation of leadership.
About the Role
Build and Lead the L&D Function
* Design and implement an L&D strategy aligned with business objectives and values.
* Develop a learning and development calendar, made up of short lunch and learn sessions, half day training and longer term programmes.
* Design and launch a mentorship program to facilitate the growth and development of individuals, whether personally or professionally, by leveraging the knowledge, skills, and experience of mentors.
* Evaluate the impact of learning initiatives using data and feedback with continuous improvement at the forefront.
* Coordination of learning and development activities.
Support and Develop Emerging Talent
* Design and deliver programs to identify, develop, and retain early-career and high-potential talent.
* Partner with managers to build succession plans and development pathways.
* Lead graduate, apprentice and intern programs, from recruitment through to training and development plans.
* Create mentoring and coaching opportunities for emerging talent.
Reporting and Data Management
* Create reports via the Oracle Learning Module.
* Management of L&D data.
Partner Across the Business
* Collaborate with HR, DEI, and Talent Acquisition to ensure inclusive and accessible learning programs.
* Source and manage external vendors, coaches, and platforms where appropriate.
Drive a Culture of Learning
* Promote a growth mindset and continuous learning culture across the organization.
* Inspire innovation in how learning is delivered (digital, social, in-person, etc.).
* Champion knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer learning, and internal communities of practice.
What do we need from you
* Proven experience in L&D, Talent Development, ideally having built or scaled L&D functions.
* Deep understanding of modern learning principles, adult learning theory, and emerging L&D technologies.
* Strong background in managing early-career or high-potential talent programs.
* Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
* Data-driven mindset with experience measuring the impact of development initiatives.
* Agile, proactive, and entrepreneurial, comfortable working in a build-and-grow environment with the need to get involved in the strategic and operational sides of things.
* CIPD or other relevant qualification is a plus, but not essential.
* Experience using Oracle is highly advantageous.
