The Manager Proposition (MP) is part of Cluster Atlantic. Clusters are representing Lely on sales and service of all chosen propositions safeguarding an integrated proposition including Consumables & Spare Parts and securing the medium and long term development of Lely’s distribution channel. The Manager Proposition decides on the ‘What’ and ‘When’ of the proposition for the Cluster and is responsible for providing the Business Teams -with an end-2-end responsibility - at Lely International with market feedback. This role serves as the linking pin between Lely International, Cluster and Lely Center. Main Tasks The MP in the Cluster is the link between the Business Team at Lely International and the Business Team of the Cluster for the entire proposition The MP reports directly to the Head of Commerce in the BT MT at Lely International on all operational topics and targets The MP is responsible and accountable for the budget and targets for the whole scope incl. all field support activities of the Proposition in the Cluster and has full commercial responsibility for sales, quantity, prices, service and support KPI’s and allocated costs The MP holds the mandate for the ‘What’ and ‘When’ of the Proposition and is responsible for implementing the agreed actions and activities in order to achieve all targets on sales, margins, service & support KPI’s. The operational implementation of these activities is performed with the help of i.a. TSS, FMS and CPS colleagues. The MP is -together with the Head of Commerce- responsible for the Cluster plan Developing activities to increase sales in numbers and on adoption, market share, service quality and customer satisfaction Supporting the use of the Lely Way of Working in the LC adhering to the overall (franchise) Distribution agreement guidelines and the Lely Global Manual For operational activities the Business Team is acting with and in the LCs The MP is supported by the Account Managers (part of Distribution Channel Development) who act as the first point of contact in the Lely Center and represents all propositions in an aligned way In case of escalation and execution the MP gives Account Managers direction or take feedback and together with the BT team will provide support for improving the LC to achieve the agreed targets The MP gives feedback on the people in the BT to the HR responsible Manager as part of the annual Performance Development cycle The Cluster Business Team consists of Commercial Proposition Specialists and the Service Support Team with Technical Support Specialists, Farm Management Specialists and marketeers Supporting Lely Centers with their resources in Sales & Service for achieving the agreed budget targets of the Proposition The daily task is to enable and support the Lely Centers to successfully implement the Proposition in the market and grow the adoption and markets shares Executing and further develop training of LC in the competence fields providing knowledge and material for successful operation in of the LC regarding the entire proposition Supporting Lely International in verification and validation of new product or service propositions and subsequent market launch Required Skills Strong commercial focus Able to really ‘’drive’’ the business Good business management background Good technical understanding Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team Market knowledge We Offer Competitive Salary/Car Allowance/26 days holiday bank holiday/Company doubles employees pension contribution to a max 12%/Reward & Recognition/Employee event days/Wellness and Wellbeing support.
