Covering 9 distribution centres across the South of England and South Wales, we employ over 1,500 logistics colleagues to deliver convenience products directly to customers in every postcode in Great Britain. What you'll be doing As an HR Advisor, you'll provide a comprehensive and professional on-site people service to colleagues and managers by ensuring HR processes run smoothly and in line with policies, procedures, and employment law. Key responsibilities include: Employee Relations - handling a variety of Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance matters, supporting site managers with HR issues, and attending complex ER cases at short notice. On-the-Ground HR Support - working closely with colleagues across multiple locations in the South, providing hands-on, site-based HR support in a fast-moving environment. Partnering with Managers - supporting managers in driving engagement, diversity, and inclusion while ensuring a productive and positive workplace. HR Projects & Training - delivering training, contributing to learning & development initiatives, and working on ad-hoc HR projects. Regular travel across the South - this is a field-based role requiring regular travel to several different Greencore sites in the South of England. What we're looking for We're looking for someone who is adaptable, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced, site-based HR role. The ideal candidate will have: HR Generalist experience, ideally in food manufacturing, logistics, or retail. Strong HR knowledge - Substantial practical experience supported by excellent theoretical knowledge (eg. CIPD Level 5, or similar). Confidence in handling employee relations casework, including disciplinary and grievance matters. A resilient and proactive approach, able to react dynamically to site needs. Strong interpersonal skills - able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
