Senior Media Strategist - Bath. Hybrid Working. £40K

As a Senior Media Strategist, you will be responsible for:
1. Supporting Media Account Directors on their larger client accounts and managing a couple of your own smaller media clients.
2. Cultivating loyal and trusted business relationships, working with key client stakeholders and the wider team to ensure objectives are met.
3. Presenting innovative and effective strategies to produce compelling results and grow client businesses.
This Senior Media Strategist will:
1. Support Account Directors on larger client accounts.
2. Be the key contact for several accounts, maintaining top-class client service.
3. Plan and buy offline media campaigns (press, inserts, door drop, etc.) as per clients’ strategies.
4. Have overall responsibility for account performance, growth, and financials.
5. Identify trends and proactively develop new opportunities, looking for ways to increase margins.
6. Prepare for and attend regular client meetings, producing presentations including campaign results and recommendations for future planning.
7. Establish credibility and earn respect through depth of knowledge.
8. Recommend innovative solutions for clients.
This Senior Media Strategist will have:
1. At least 2+ years’ experience of planning and buying offline media (press, inserts, door drop, etc).
2. Demonstrable project management skills.
3. Strong negotiation skills.
4. Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally.
5. Proactive and enthusiastic self-starter.
6. Confident and engaging presentation skills.
7. Excellent MS Office skills.
8. Meticulous attention to detail.
9. A proven ability in using insight (both consumer and numerate) to produce and substantiate media plans.
10. A consultative personality, able to actively involve and consider input from key internal colleagues.
