About the Job This is a hands-on role in an SME setting, focusing on management accounting and financial oversight. Joining on an interim basis for approximately four months, you will play a key part in integrating accounts, managing financial processes, and supporting a growing team. Duties will include: Integrating accounts from newly acquired businesses. Collaborating with banks on account mergers and setups. Preparing management accounts, month-end reporting, and cashflow forecasts. Overseeing budgets, compliance, and reconciliations. Liaising with other departments to ensure financial accuracy. Coordinating with an outsourced payroll provider. Supporting and mentoring an accounts assistant. Potential involvement in a future system review. About the Successful Applicant You will bring hands-on management accounting experience with strong all-round financial knowledge. Proficiency in Sage is essential, with familiarity in Xero and Sage Cloud being advantageous. Prior involvement in system implementation is a plus, along with a proactive and adaptable approach.
