About Gama Aviation:
Gama Aviation is a reputable Business Aviation company, working on both fixed wing and rotary aircraft. We are continuing to grow and expand with exciting contracts being secured.
As a Tooling Stores Person, reporting directly to the Tools Manager, you will be responsible for the control of tooling to the part 145 organisation and the associated engineering teams. The successful candidate will conduct themselves in a professional manner, responding to business requirements efficiently. Additionally, the applicant will be required to undertake general housekeeping to aid with workload during peaks.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain an accurate tool control process using the Companies MRP System.
* Hands-on approach to counter service and tool control.
* Maintain the effective repair and calibration of tooling as required.
* Audit Tooling in accordance with policy and ensure compliance.
* Build sustainable relationships with management and engineering regarding tooling.
* Inspect tooling before and after use.
* Effectively self-manage and take ownership of the tool store.
* Conduct Daily, Weekly, and Monthly checks as required.
* Ensure the Tool Store is kept clean, tidy, and efficient.
* Other duties as required by the Tools Manager.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:
Essential:
* General Computer Literacy and Tool knowledge.
* Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
* Applicable product knowledge.
* Aviation Tool Stores experience is an advantage.
* An understanding of good tool support practice and experience.
* Ability to use Excel for basic data entry and information dissemination.
* Flexibility in supporting the business.
