About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic professional to join our oversubscribed upper school. We are on a journey of rapid improvement and want inquisitive, positive, dynamic, and resilient colleagues to join our excellent English department.
Our thriving department is currently recruiting for a Teacher of English. The department is very well-resourced, and there will be the opportunity to teach across all Key Stages. Applications from ECT and part-time colleagues are welcome.
Actual Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (M1 to UP3).
The starting salary is negotiable for exceptional candidates, and there is potential for a Pastoral TLR.
This position is Permanent and Full Time. Applications from part-time colleagues are also welcome.

* An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction
* An understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in English Language and English Literature
* An awareness of some of the concepts explored in Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series.
