We have immediate opportunities for Support Workers to provide vital support to people with a learning disability. We're recruiting full time, part time permanent, and bank Support Workers across the UK now!

What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker, you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated, and happy life.
* Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering, and using the bathroom.
* Supporting people to live independently – budget management, paying bills, housework, organizing appointments, and cooking delicious healthy meals.
* Excellent communication skills/relationship building – supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
* Community & Social Inclusion - Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
We are offering 1 x 24-hour position in a supported living service, providing 24-hour support to one gentleman with a Learning Disability and Autism within his own home. Hours include sleep-ins, waking nights, and day shifts.
The gentleman requires support to manage his everyday living needs, including personal care, medication, cooking, finance, and maintaining his home, as well as all aspects of community access; including shopping, healthcare, leisure facilities, and support to maintain relationships with his family.

There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £62.45.
