Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our multi-disciplinary PCN team. We are a pair of forward thinking GP Practices within a PCN team who are passionate about developing and delivering excellent quality local services to meet the needs of our patients. Due to the changes in the ARRS Scheme to introduce General Practitioners we are looking to expand our team by seeking to employ a newly qualified General Practitioner to work alongside our practices and Primary Care Network staff. Our PCN staff currently includes Clinical Pharmacists, Physicians Associates, Social Prescribers, Physiotherapists, Care Coordinators, Nurse Associates and Pharmacist Technicians. Main duties of the job To perform as an autonomous general practitioner working independently and with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients attending within a primary care setting. Provide expert professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence. To be involved in the provision of education and training to GP Registrars and other staff. To be professionally accountable and responsible for all elements of clinical practice in accordance with the GMC code of conduct ensuring the safety of patients and quality of their care is primary. This role is a fixed term position until 31 March 2025 and could be extended for the right candidate and subject to the PCN DES contract. About us This is a split role between two GP Practices, Sloan Medical Centre and Meadowgreen Medical Centre. Both practices are part of Peak Edge Primary care Network and have appro. 37,000 patients between them. We are looking to recruit a 6 sessions doctor to work across three days. Working days will be Monday and Tuesday at Meadowgreen Medical Centre and Wednesday at Sloan Medical Centre.
