Join our dynamic Property Legal team at Cellnex! As a key player, you'll report to the Regional Head of Property Legal and help support our extensive portfolio of electronic communications service sites across the UK. Whether you're focusing on the North, Midlands, or South, you'll be part of a team overseeing around 1500-2000 individual sites and 3000 portfolio sites.
You'll collaborate with fellow solicitors to tackle property law issues, support the renewal of our leasehold estate under the Electronic Communications Code, handle Notices to Quit from landowners, and address various estate matters. This is a hybrid role, based out of our lovely offices in Leamington Spa 3 days a week, with 2 days at home.

Supporting the other Regional solicitors, with some supervision from more senior solicitors, to undertake a range of legal matters, including:
1. Instructing suppliers to serve statutory notices and make Tribunal applications to support the lease renewal programme, working with external surveying and law firms and internal surveyors to drive agreement of terms through to completion.
2. With support, provide instructions to external legal firms on legal issues arising in negotiations and on permissible amendments to the Cellnex standard terms in both the Code Lease renewal and Capital Deployment programmes.
3. Responsibility for ensuring Notices to Quit (NTQs) sites are managed alongside Cellnex surveyors, ensuring sites are reviewed on a regular basis and advising the company on legal options to defend or relocate the sites.
4. Advise the Technical Operations (TO) delivery programmes where legal escalation is required to deliver customer programmes.
5. Support the Regional solicitors in the effective management of contentious legal issues arising on sites to secure the best legal outcome for the business.
6. Working as part of a team to provide wider business support on projects, bids and corporate transactions.
Suitable applicants will be solicitors qualified to practise in the UK, or about to qualify. Relevant sectors: Commercial Property Litigation or Commercial Property, Electronic Communications law experience is desirable but not essential.
