Finance Business Partner being hired for PE backed FMCG business in London!
£60,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Hybrid working
Stanton House are excited to be partnering with a PE backed FMCG business in London to hire a Finance Business Partner into their high performing Finance team. You will be part of the Commercial Finance team, supporting Impulse, convenience and discounter sales teams. You will be responsible for providing collaborative financial and analytical leadership to the account teams, to build and deliver annual net revenue, profit and share plans for the accounts. This role is highly commercial, offers great progression opportunities and exposure to senior stakeholders within the organisation.
How you'll make an impact
1. Work closely with the account team to build their annual net revenue plans, and develop their annual "joint business plans" with their customer.
2. Support the reporting and explanation of account revenue performance to the Sales team & Commercial Finance Lead including post deal evaluation, customer & category performance, and lessons for future activity.
3. Highlight future performance concerns and opportunities and support in planning commercial activities required to remediate any gaps to target.
4. Support optimising trade spend for the specified accounts.
5. Drive the delivery of net revenue plans via stewardship of the commercial planning analysts in the service delivery team, with responsibility for reviewing the forecasting of promotions and new products.
6. Work with Shared Service Delivery Team, for ensuring all prospective account promotional investments are evaluated and approved appropriately.
7. Support period close process and provide understanding and insight into performance.
What we're looking for
1. CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant.
2. Experience of working in the FMCG sector is essential.
3. Experience of working in Commercial Finance would be desirable.
4. Highly analytical with strong communication skills.
5. Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels.
6. Excellent knowledge of core business processes.
7. Examples of driving process improvement and best practice.
8. Comfortable working with ambiguity.
