Associate Manufacturing Engineer

Role Overview:
Support the development and execution of manufacturing engineering practices within a specialised environment, offering exposure to a variety of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement efficient production systems, processes, equipment, and facilities.
* Collaborate with internal and external teams to solve technical challenges.
* Develop methods, tooling, and processes for manufacturing.
* Create and update manufacturing routings and Bill of Materials (BOMs) in the MRP system.
* Use 3D design software for tooling and assembly aids (training provided).
* Assist in new product introduction and prototyping.
* Provide technical support for production teams during changes.
Qualifications & Experience:
* HND or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* 2+ years in an engineering environment.
* Understanding of manufacturing tolerances for assembly and machining.
* Experience with MRP systems, process mapping, and technical documentation.
* Familiarity with metal treatments, unconventional machining, or welding techniques is a plus.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or 3D design.
