Main duties of the job
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable People Assistant to support our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a fast-paced environment who is eager to contribute to a variety of HR functions; this role is a fantastic development opportunity into the HR profession.

Our Integrated Care Board (ICB) is the largest in the country, responsible for ensuring that high quality and safe health services are accessible to all of our communities. It has a wide range of functions, including promoting integration of health and care services, improving people's health and well-being, and reducing health inequalities.
With a £6.6 billion budget and a workforce of 170,000 people across the North East and North Cumbria, ICB staff work at place level with local health and wellbeing boards in each of our 14 local authority areas. These teams also work alongside our 67 primary care networks, which are groups of local GP practices, social care teams, and other community-based area providers.
The ICB works with our Provider Collaborative, which includes the 11 NHS Foundation Trusts in the region, to deliver our shared priorities.
Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support to the People Team.
2. Assist with HR processes.
3. Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy.
4. Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
5. Assist with employee relations and engagement initiatives.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
* Experience of working in a busy office environment.
Experience
* Recent experience of HR administration work.
* Experience of working within an environment delivering excellent customer service.
* Experience of working within an NHS HR role.
* Experience of payroll work.

Salary: £24,071 to £25,674 per annum pro rata.
