Fantastic opportunity to secure an HR Adviser role on an initial 6 months contract, based in Manchester on a hybrid working model (2 days a week in the office), inside IR35. Reporting to a HR Business Partner the HR Adviser will coordinate and be involved in a range of HR activities including processes, approvals and communication to the business. This will include advising line managers on aspects of HR and day to day needs. Working with the Centres of Excellence to update and cascade messaging the HR Adviser will also be heavily involved in supporting with line manager queries and education, particularly around Workday and various other systems.
What will you be doing?
1. Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business, supporting and capturing areas for improvement, managing expectations well.
2. Drive a self serve model by capturing queries and creating a knowledge base.
3. Handling HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements.
4. Supporting the ER manager when needed with some ER activity which may include grievance and disciplinary.
5. Assisting with some of the recruitment processes, internally and externally.
6. Driving the business performance by creating a continuous improvement methodology in the people function.
7. Supporting the Business partners in their role by understanding the challenges and seeking to offer solutions.
8. Able to provide data and analysis of the key HR metrics to support the BP’s and provide regular data packs for the business and be able to analyse the data to provide good insight and focus areas.
What are we looking for?
1. Experience in an HR environment with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
2. Advising and working with senior leaders.
3. IT programmes and HR systems experience preferably Workday.
4. Strong aptitude in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formatting), PowerPoint and reporting.
5. Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business.
6. Driven and determined.
7. CIPD qualified ideally.
8. Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player.
