Brief overview:
We have partnered with an exciting leading retailer looking for a Head of HR. The Head of HR will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This role specifically requires expertise in using Dayforce, a comprehensive human capital management (HCM) platform. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic vision and hands-on capability to foster a positive work environment and ensure the organization's HR operations are efficient and aligned with the company's goals.
Head of HR - Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
* Oversee the implementation and effective use of the Dayforce platform for various HR functions including payroll, benefits, talent management, and workforce management.
* Lead the HR team in managing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.
* Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy.
* Manage and oversee employee compensation, benefits programs, and HR budgets.
* Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
* Promote and foster a positive workplace culture and environment that aligns with the company's values and mission.
* Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform business decisions and strategies.
* Provide support and guidance to HR staff, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
Head of HR - Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Head of HR or in a senior HR leadership role.
* Extensive experience with the Dayforce HCM platform.
* Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High level of integrity and confidentiality.
