Vacancy We are seeking a Solicitor to join our fast growing Private Client team in Oxford As athe newest member of the Oxford Private client team you will consistently deliver a high standard of legal advice to clients in a commercially astute manner and always deliver outstanding client service. You will also be required to assist with the marketing of the department’s services and undertaking business development activities to build on the firm and team’s reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of litigation files, under supervision, dealing effectively with cases Working knowledge of CPR, Inheritance and Trust Disputes, Estate Administration Disputes and 1975 Act claims Strong drafting and negotiation skills Deal directly with clients to take instructions and ensure full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations Work closely with partners and senior lawyers to develop client relationship skills Actively develop relationships with smaller clients Deal effectively with opposing parties, court and others Raise personal profile and attract delegated work; take responsibility for aspects of BD projects within the department Research and draft articles and assist with the production of marketing materials Begin to develop a network of clients, contacts, and potential referrers; attend relevant networking events Take responsibility for aspects of business development projects in the department Manage time recording, WIP monitoring and billing consistently on own and others’ files and matters Skills, Experience, and Attributes Qualified Solicitor or FILEX Previous experience within area of Law, ideally within a Chambers or L500 recognised team Ability to manage own files with minimal supervision Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service Organised and able to effectively prioritise Company We’re RWK Goodman – a progressive Top 100 law firm.
