Role: Autism Supported Living - Service Manager
Location: Woodstock
Hours: 35-37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Reed Community Care is proud to be appointed as the Service Provider for a young man living in his own home just outside Woodstock. We are looking for a strong leader to join the team to manage the service day-to-day. The service supports 1 service user with a team of 6 support workers providing 2:1 support 7 days a week, including 1 sleep-in overnight. The Service Manager will work closely under the registered manager who oversees multiple locations.
The Care Manager Role:
* Managing and supervising support workers to ensure high standards of care.
* Coaching staff on shift.
* Implementing meal plans, activity plans, and promoting healthy living choices for the client.
* Driving and taking the client out.
* Ensuring staff compliance.
* Managing rotas.
* Attending clients' professional meetings.
* Conducting risk assessments and updating support plans.
* Managing medicines and financial checks.
Candidates Will Need:
* Good organisational skills.
* Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous management experience.
* Experience working with young adults with autism.
* A desire to make a difference.
* Able to drive.
