Job Title: Parts Advisor
Location: Huntingdon, Cambs
The Job
To provide support and assistance to both internal Service department and external customers, whilst maintaining a strong focus on the business objectives within the parts department. By delivering a high level of customer satisfaction the role is a vital part of the business.
A key front-line role that requires a consistent and professional approach to customer service at all times. Responsible for dealing with all aspects of customer enquiries, the position demands strong communication skills with customers, whilst working as a team to both maximise sales and offer a high degree of technical knowledge.
The role
Main focus areas include but are not exclusive to:
1. Answering inbound calls
2. Working with other team members within the department to achieve all objectives
3. Actioning all enquiries from both internal departments and external customers
4. Adherence to all current procedures
5. Use of the CRM systems as per specified procedures
6. Accurately identifying all parts required
7. Maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction through a friendly and helpful approach
8. Processing customer orders in line with specified procedures
9. Maintaining stock levels
10. Coordinating back-order process
11. Taking ownership of parts related customer service issues and taking the necessary action to achieve a satisfactory conclusion
12. Always keeping customers up to date with current proceedings
This would suit someone from a parts background, preferably with a mechanical understanding and knowledge of tail lifts and their systems.
