We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable SEN Teacher to join a Special School in Epping. This full-time contract role is a wonderful opportunity for an individual passionate about providing high-quality support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
You will deliver personalised and engaging lessons that cater to each student’s individual needs, fostering an environment that promotes growth and achievement.
As an SEN Teacher, you will work collaboratively with support staff, ensuring every child receives the attention and guidance they need.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that meet the needs of SEN students.
* Work closely with support staff to create a structured and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
* Provide a nurturing and safe environment, focusing on students' emotional and academic development.
* Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other professionals to support each student’s progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience in SEN education or similar settings is desirable but not essential.
* Strong classroom management skills and a flexible approach to teaching.
* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive education.
* Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
