An exciting job role has recently become available at the Inverclyde Council. They are looking for a new member for their Alcohol and Drug Recovery Team
Provide a social work service to identified individuals, families and groups within the community, to be carried out within the framework of relevant legislation, council policy and procedures.
Responsibilities :
* To provide appropriate advice and guidance to individuals, families and groups within the community in accordance with service policy and procedure.
* To provide robust assessments of need, risk and strength, resulting in a person centred care plan.
* To liaise with appropriate agencies/services/disciplines on behalf of service users.
* To carry a caseload under direct professional supervision
* To record all work undertaken in accordance with service instructions, ensuring recording systems are used appropriately for input and reporting purposes. Good record keeping is an essential function of the role.
* To accept responsibility for professional development, through participation in supervision and attendance at appropriate training events.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
