We are currently looking for a IT Operations Technician to join our team, based in our award-winning business in Auchincruive, Ayr. This a full time, hybrid role.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Maintaining high quality customer service, ensuring that all customers are treated in an appropriate manner.
2. Serving as an escalation point for IT Operations Technician’s to resolve difficult IT tickets.
3. Training and mentoring IT Service Desk Agent’s and serving as a resource to Service Desk team members.
4. Diagnosing and resolving software/hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows) and across a range of software applications (Office365, Adobe, VPN, etc.).
5. Assisting with any logged IT related incident when called upon.
6. Taking ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary.
7. Accurately documenting pertinent information for requests and incidents in ITSM ticketing system.
8. Implementing new technical procedures as needed.
9. Maintaining company IT assets and inventory, ensuring that assets are updated in accordance with asset management policies and procedures.
10. Installing and configuring new IT equipment (workstations, switch/firewall, servers, etc.).
11. Working on assigned projects on an ad hoc basis and assisting with other corporate initiatives as necessary.
About you:
12. Previous IT experience, preferably within a similar on-site role.
13. Experience in delivering the highest level of service to the customer.
14. Must be highly motivated, with excellent organisational skills and be able to work as part of a team, as well as on own initiative.
15. Ability to lone work if required.
