Science Technician wanted for Secondary School in Luton!
Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a dynamic and highly skilled Science department at a large Secondary School in Luton. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for science and a keen eye for detail.
This is a Full-Time role with a January 2025 or ASAP start.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the senior science technician to discuss equipment requirements and schedules.
2. Ensure all necessary classroom, laboratory, and workshop science resources and materials are prepared and available when needed.
3. Clean, prepare, and assemble technical materials, apparatus, and equipment.
4. Safely store equipment and dispose of used or waste products in accordance with school policies and statutory regulations.
Am I suitable?
1. Degree or Higher in Chemistry or Science related field.
2. Confident with the safe storage of chemicals and equipment.
3. Previous Science Technician/Laboratory experience would be beneficial.
4. Experience working in a school or with young people would be beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
