As part of the Fendale Group, the brand is on an exciting journey of expansion, building on the successful growth of 2024.We are looking for an ambitious Workplace Catering Manager to play a pivotal role in leading and managing our catering operations, ensuring exceptional service for our clients across London. This role is full time & based out of our Battersea office, where you will be joining a dynamic team of chefs and event planners.As the Workplace Catering Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of our catering services, from menu planning and logistics to managing a high-performing team. You’ll collaborate closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations, ensuring that every meal and event enhances the workplace experience. At Spoilt for Choice, we're not just about catering – we’re about transforming workplaces with fresh, healthy food across our portfolio of corporate clients and venues in London.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management:Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of existing clients while proactively seeking new opportunities.Event Planning & Coordination:Quote, plan, and manage various catering eventsEnsure that all event logistics align seamlessly with both client expectations and the team’s capabilities.Administrative Management:Manage the admin inbox, responding promptly to all inquiries and processing orders via email, telephone, and the website.Ensure that inquiries are logged accurately in the CRM system and corresponding job sheets are prepared.Collaboration with Team:Work closely with the culinary team to ensure both standard and bespoke menus meet clients’ needs.Brief the kitchen on special requests, allergens, and deadlines during weekly team meetings.Website & Menu Management:Oversee the backend of website management, ensuring accurate allergen information and menu choices are up-to-date.Manage the availability of dishes and ensure the online experience aligns with customer expectations.Event Logistics & Operations:Ensure smooth handovers to the event operations team, guaranteeing that all staff and logistical requirements are in place for each event.Monitor the correct handling of allergen information for each order and corresponding event.Marketing & Branding:Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure the right marketing materials are in place and that workplace catering services are effectively marketed to the appropriate target audience.Tender & Proposal Management:Contribute to the creation of new tender documents and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for corporate clients and office spaces.Assist with the tender process, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities.Supplier Liaison:Recommend and liaise with approved suppliers, ensuring their products and services meet client expectations.Help define clients' catering requirements and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality service delivery.Skills and ExperienceAt least 1 year of experience in catering sales or relevant experience in the event industry.Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets and successfully managing client relationships.Experience using CRM software such as Pipedrive or similar platforms to manage leads and clients effectively.Experience managing budgets, with the ability to cost menus, manage invoicing, and upsell/cross-sell into other brands within the business.Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build long-lasting relationships and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with an excellent command of English.Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with Canva and InDesign is a plus.Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service and attention to detail.Personal Attributes:Initiative-driven, able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.A confident and enthusiastic approach with excellent interpersonal skillsCommercially aware and customer-focused, with a passion for client satisfaction and business growth.
