We’re looking for a Certification & Compliance Manager with a good knowledge of passive fire. This role involves detailed technical assessments, planning test programs, reviewing technical documents, and continuously updating knowledge on fire safety standards. What You Get c£50k annual salary 33 days holidays Healthcare Cash Plan Life Insurance 2 x salary Company pension scheme About The Job: Conduct robust engineering reports for passive fire protection products, assessing both fire and non-fire data to provide comprehensive advice and solutions. Coordinate and plan fire resistance testing programs with clients and testing departments. Assist with installation of product testing both at internal and external test rigs. Work closely with various 3rd party testing and assessment teams. Prepare and review technical documentation for compliance with fire safety standards and assist with CAD drawings for product installations Offer guidance on new product ranges, including determining minimum testing requirements for compliance. Develop and update knowledge of national and international standards related to fire safety. Provide support during audits and contribute to internal knowledge development. Collaborate with technical, sales, and R&D teams to enhance product offerings and address market needs. To give technical advice on all existing and new fire-resistant products and solutions, which can be supplied by the company, to architects, installers, authorities, contractors, clients, and fire departments on major projects that might require in-depth solutions, during various stages of design development and construction. Lead the representation of the company in standards committees, trade associations, and public platforms. About You: Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field; or significant experience in fire safety management. Strong understanding of National, European, and International standards in fire safety. Experience in product testing, certification, or a related technical field is preferred. Ability to interpret technical and CAD drawings. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to articulate technical information effectively. Innovative thinker with a keen interest in fire safety. Team-oriented yet able to work autonomously. Flexible and willing to travel as needed for project-specific support.
