We are expanding our team and looking for a talented Commercial Finance Manager! Join us to support our commercial teams on promotions, range reviews, and other important initiatives. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a clear understanding of the margin impacts of commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production of weekly and monthly reports, ensuring variances and anomalies are progressively followed up and positioned with the Commercial teams for resolution.
2. Work collaboratively with the business teams to gain a granular understanding of margin.
3. Provide robust financial control and accounting for the import process, liaising with Procurement, Commercial and Supply Chain teams to ensure a joined up holistic view that quickly identifies any potential risk or opportunity.
4. Identify opportunities to streamline, simplify processes, so that issues are identified earlier and forwarding looking forecasts and plans are accurately produced.
5. Providing insightful reporting to help shape and deliver strategies of the wider business.
6. Assist with any ad hoc requests, queries or analysis, to help the smooth, efficient working of the Finance function.
7. Develop the Junior Analyst by coaching through tasks and exam progression.
What are we looking for:
1. Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) Will also accept passed finalists.
2. Retail / FMCG experience Business partnering.
3. Broad finance experience.
4. Proficiency in MS Office with good Excel skills.
5. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Financially literate.
7. Problem solving skills.
8. Team player/happy to help/can do attitude.
9. Well organised with the ability to prioritise work.
10. Hard working and proactive.
11. Enthusiastic and inquisitive.
