This role will suit a commercially aware procurement or purchasing professional with proven experience in providing the best service possible. Key Responsibilities: Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies. Maintain accurate records of all purchases, ensuring proper documentation is in place for auditing purposes. Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices, resolve issues, and ensure the timely delivery of products. Assist in the selection and evaluation of suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. Monitor stock levels and place orders to replenish inventory as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations regarding procurement. Assist in tracking and managing budgets for purchasing activities, identifying areas for cost reduction. Prepare reports and provide purchasing data to management as required. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment. Handle any administrative tasks related to purchasing, such as updating supplier databases and filing paperwork. Some experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role is preferred. Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
