We are seeking a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our award-winning team. Based in Woodstock, you will support our accounting team by managing financial tasks related to tenant payments, deposits, and other rental transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenant payments, deposits, and other rental transactions.
2. Process and reconcile invoices related to property maintenance, repairs, and other expenses.
3. Rent Collection: Assist with the collection of rent payments from tenants and ensure timely and accurate processing.
4. Deposit Management: Manage tenant security deposits, including processing refunds and deductions for damages or outstanding rent.
5. Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
6. Customer Service: Respond to tenant inquiries related to payments, deposits, and other financial matters.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Basic accounting knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Strong organizational skills: Ability to manage and maintain accurate records.
* Attention to detail: Accuracy in financial data entry and record keeping.
* Good communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues.
* Experience in a lettings or property management environment: Preferred, but not always required.
