You will be responsible for planning and executing statutory audits for corporate clients, both from the office and on-site at client locations.This opportunity is with a Top 20 firm, offering strong career progression and an exceptional work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, carry out, and finalise audit assignments while supporting the audit manager.
* Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax calculations, and returns for limited companies and groups.
* Identify opportunities for cross-selling services.
* Assist with other compliance tasks, including preparing VAT returns.
* Prepare accounts for partnerships and sole traders, including drafting income tax calculations.
* Communicate workload progress to management and plan for efficient task completion.
* Establish and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
* Train and oversee junior staff members.
* Prepare management accounts.
Requirements:
* Competent in audit, accounting and tax software.
* ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent (OR studying towards)
* Full clean drivers licence.
* Able to work effectively under pressure.
* Strong communication skills.
* Familiar with accounting software e. Sage and Xero.
