As a Freight Planner you will work within the companies quality management system to ensure compliance at all times. Key Responsibilities / Outputs Receive transport requests from clients and process transport orders using the companies Freight Management System – ProAct. Prioritise workload to ensure transport consignments meet required deadlines. Monitor carrier performance and ensure SLA compliance. Ensure profitability while maintaining maximum service levels. Record any deviations through the companies DIR/CAPA and non-conformance procedures. Compile monthly KPI data. Authorise costs and revenue following completion of transport orders. Ensure compliance when transporting temperature controlled, ADR and CD consignments. Build strong relationships with clients and carriers. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve successful results.
